Hadleigh
Hi, I’m Hadleigh. I am a very passionate hairstylist with a journey that started in 2017. I got my cosmetology license in Rapid City South Dakota followed by moving back to my home town in Montana for two years to do Hair, Lashes and some Permanent Makeup. I decided I wanted to live somewhere warmer, so I found myself in Phoenix in late 2019 to continue doing what I love for Grooming Humans. I have since went from a stylist to the Salon Owner! When I’m not at the salon I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend and our dog Mak.
melissa
Melissa is an Aveda trained hair pro and certified color educator. Graduating Aveda with honors and A-list status she prides herself in the client experience. She has been recognized by the state of Minnesota for her international artistry. She specializes in bridal hair, blonding, hand painting French techniques and curl cuts. Prior to hair styling Melissa studied fashion design and was also an international entertainer. She moonlights as a piano bar entertainer.

My husband and I recently relocated to Arizona from the land of
10,000 lakes, mosquitos and cold winters. You betcha, we are from MinneSOTA!
We have 3 adult children and a very large extended family. What a blessing!
We enjoy adventure, traveling and food.
In my free time I love to share my talents by volunteering for a local non profit cutting hair for the homeless.
I truly enjoy Hair – Therapy.
Time with clients in my salon chair encouraging them to be the best version of themselves, all while I create a haircut, color and style that fits their personality and lifestyle, this is my goal during every visit.

Sierra
Sierra began her career in Eugene, Oregon. After completing cosmetology school, she worked in Services various barbershops where she buit her skills performing countless men’s clipper cuts. In 2020, Sierra began at an AVEDA salon, specializing in pixie cuts and gray-enhancing techniques. Recently, Sierra, her husband, and their two cats relocated to Arizona. Sierra always puts her client’s emotional needs and well-being first and believes that enhancing someone’s natural beauty is only half the service. The other half of the service is helping people to drop the stresses that everyday life brings with self-care tips and advice. When not in the salon, Sierra loves cooking/baking, watching the latest TV shows and movies, and exploring all of Arizona’s fun activities!
Sara
Hi! My name’s Sara. I’m so happy to have joined the Grooming Humans family in 2023!
I grew up in Rhode Island, and more recently lived in San Diego before coming to Tempe. When I’m not doing hair I like to thrift, try local restaurants and spend time with my friends.
Since graduating from cosmetology school, I’ve enjoyed working on cuts, color, and styles for mens and womens hair. I’m enjoying the challenge of becoming more experienced and well rounded in my craft.
I always wanted to be a hairstylist growing up, and I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to learn and grow alongside the rest of the very talented team here at Grooming Humans.

Hi! My name is Kate and I’ve been pursuing my passion for hair for almost 3 years now! Recently moved to Tempe from West side of Phoenix and worked at a salon in Glendale. I like to spend time with my dachshund Stella and explore the night life of Tempe with my boyfriend. Excited to have you in my chair!
